8-night 9-day itinerary for a trip to Srinagar. Srinagar is a stunning destination known for its breathtaking landscapes, serene lakes, and rich cultural heritage. Here's a suggested itinerary for your trip:
Day-wise Schedule

1st Day | Srinagar
- Arrival at Srinagar's Sheikh Ul-Alam International Airport. and Sightseeing.and Transfer to hotel.
On Arrival transfer to Srinagar and by the evening dinner and Overnight stay in Srinagar Hotel/HouseBoat.

2nd Day | Srinagar to Sonamarg - Day Trip
After breakfast full day excursion of Sonmarg which is one of the most beautiful drive from Srinagar. Sonmarg is at 98 kms from Srinagar. We will take about 3 hours to reach Sonmarg. Sonmarg is the last stop of Kashmir. From here starts the territory of Ladakh. Situated at an altitude of 2743 m above sea level, Sonmarg is absolutely true to its name, which means 'Meadow of Gold". The moment you enter Sonmarg, the first thing that you will notice will be the snow- covered mountain that forms the backdrop of the town. Covered with alpine trees from all sides, Sonmarg has few of the loveliest flower collection in Jammu and Kashmir. You may take a pony ride to Thajiwas Glacier where snow remains round the year. Return to Srinagar by the evening for overnight stay.

3rd Day | Srinagar to Doodhpathri - Day Trip
After Breakfast leave for day trip to doodhpathri. Doodhpathri means a ‘Valley of Milk" and the reason why it's called that is because the water flowing through the meadows here looks like milk from a distance. There's also a story which goes back in time. It is believed that when the famous saint of Kashmir Sheikh- ul-Alam once prayed here, and pricked the ground with his stick to get some water, milk started oozing out instead, on the rocks. Since Doodhpathri is a part of the Pir Panjal Range of the Himalayas, it is a staggering altitude of 8,957 feet above sea level. There's snow-capped mountains to be seen everywhere, and gorgeous meadows of pine, fir and cedar at every step. These meadows are covered with snow all winter, allowing the growth of wild flowers such as daisies, forget-me-nots and butter cups during spring and summer. Doodhpathri doesn’t have a permanent settlement; it is inaccessible during winter due to heavy snowfall. In summer, however, shepherds from the nearby Budgam district bring cattle here for grazing and make base at Doodhpathri for about six months. Later in the evening return to srinagar. Dinner and overnight stay at Hotel/HouseBoat.

4th Day | Srinagar - Full Day sightseeing
Morning after breakfast sightseeing of Mughal gardens visiting Nishat Bagh (Abode of pleasure), Shalimar Bagh (Abode of Love). These beautiful mountains are situated on the bank of Dal Lake with the Zabarwan Mountains in the background. Distance from Srinagar is about 12 and 15 kms respectively. Enroute, visit a carpet weaving factory. Afternoon City Tour visiting Fort, Jamia Masjid, Shah Hamdan Shrine and walk through the naroow streets of Old City, DownTown to experience the living style of local people and evening return to Hotel/HouseBoat for dinner and overnight stay at Hotel/HouseBoat in srinagar.

bth Day | Srinagar to Gulmarg - Day Trip
After breakfast checkout from hotel proceed to Gulmarg. Gulmarg is one of the most beautiful resorts in the valley. It is at 52kms from Srinagar. Gulmarg has been a resort for the kings like Yousuf Shah Chak and Jahangir who used to visit frequently. Gulmarg boasts Asia's highest and longest cable car project, the Gulmarg Gondola. The two-stage ropeway ferries about 600 people per hour to and from Kongdoori Mountain, a shoulder of nearby Afarwat Peak (4,200 m (13,780 ft). You can also try skiing on your own. Gulmarg has one of the best ski slopes in the world and also has highest golf course in the world with 18 holes. Later in the evening return back to Hotel dinner and overnight stay in Srinagar hotel.

6th Day | Srinagar to Pahalgam - Transfer and Sightseeing
After breakfast, we drive to Pahalgam via Pampore, Avantipura and the village of Bijbehara which remains famous as the bread basket of Kashmir. We switch from the national highway 1A at Khanabal and drive through the second largest city of Anantnag. From here the road turns scenic as we drive parallel on the Lidder river flowing from the opposite direction. In Pahalgam, check-in at the hotel and Visit to Chandanwadi (at your own cost), The snow Point (14 Km) at your own cost or enjoy pony ride at your own cost. Overnight stay at the hotel in Pahalgam.

7th Day | Pahalgam - Full Day sightseeing
Morning After breakfast the day is free to explore Lidder valley at your own or you can pick one of the below given options by taking a local cab at your own cost. Option 1. Visit to Aru Valley which is a small village, 15 km upstream the Lidder River. The route is picturesque with ample campsites. This village is the starting point for treks to the Kolahoi glacier. Option 2. Visit to Chandanwari, 16 Km which is the starting point of sacred Amarnath Yatra. Chandanwari is famous for snow sledging on a snow bridge. En-route you can visit Hajan, an idyllic picnic spot and Betaab valley. Option 3. You can enjoy leisurely walks in pine forest along River Lidder and enjoy picnic on riverside. Option 4. You can enjoy pony ride to Baisaran meadow, surrounded by thickly wooded pine forest and snow-capped mountains. This grassy glen offers a panoramic view of Pahalgam town and Lidder Valley. Dinner and overnight in Hotel at Pahalgam.

8th Day | Pahalgam to Srinagar - Transfer and Sightseeing
After Breakfast, you will be transferred back to Srinagar, on arrival Check inn at the hotel later enjoy 01 Hour Boat Ride on Dal Lake by a gondola Boat called ” SHIKARA" witness the ride on lake, called Venice of India & experience the aquatic life of Srinagar. Also see the scenic extravaganza of the Kashmir and enjoy the profusion of colors in the Paradise on Earth. While returning visit to the local crafts market and see the fine carved hand-made articles from Paper Machie & wood of a walnut. Dinner and overnight stay at houseboat in Srinagar.

9th Day | Srinagar to -Departure
After Breakfast Drive towards Srinagar Airport with Happy Memories From tripholiday.in Kashmir Tour and Travels.
